Moen Flo Shutoff Installation Tips

Here are a couple tips and recommendations when installing the Moen Flo Shutoff:
  1. O-Rings
    • The Moen Flo Shutoff includes 2 additional O-Rings along with the 2 that are pre-installed on the device. If it is necessary to replace the O-Rings on theMoen Flo Shutoff, please make sure to add a liberal amount of Silicone Grease prior to installation.   2. Silicone Grease

  4. Securing the Moen Flo Shutoff-
    • \When securing the polymer union nuts on the Moen Flo Shutoff to the homes piping, Moen recommends that the installer "Hand Tightens" the union nuts and applies a 1/4 of an inch turn with the proper hand tool.
